P&G was recognized with the National Medal of Technology in a ceremony held at the White House with President Bill Clinton in 1995. This medal is the highest award the United States bestows for achievement in technology. The medal is presented annually to individuals, teams or companies for their accomplishments in the innovation, development and commercialization of technology that results in the establishment of new or significantly improved products, processes or services. We are one of only ten U.S. Corporations to ever be so honored in 1995.
